This project covered the full electrical and lighting installation for a brand-new commercial lounge located in Edenvale. The client, Sam, required a complete setup from scratch, including wiring, lighting points, plug installations, and ambient lighting design for a modern entertainment venue. Implementation Process

The project began with a site inspection and electrical layout planning. We installed new wiring routes for lights, plugs, and switches, followed by cutting and preparing ceiling points for the downlights. After marking a precise centerline, each light was aligned to maintain a straight and consistent design—ideal for lounge ambience. The fittings were installed, tested, and balanced for even brightness throughout the corridor, seating area, and walkway spaces. Final testing included load checks, safety verification, and ensuring all fittings were correctly secured and functional.

Challenges & Solutions

Challenge 1: Narrow Walkway Ceiling

The lounge walkway had a long, narrow ceiling area that required perfect alignment for visual impact.
Solution: We laser-aligned the lighting line to maintain straightness and symmetry.

Challenge 2: Fresh Plaster and Dust Management

Working on newly plastered ceilings required extra care to avoid dust contamination in fixtures.
Solution: We inserted protective covers during cutting and installation to maintain a clean finish.
